Membership in the Louisiana Flood Plain Management Association includes representatives from all levels of government (floodplain administrators, permit officials, agency personnel), the private sector (planners, engineers, surveyors, realtors, bankers, lenders, and insurance agents), and the university community.

LFMA Membership Dues: Applies to the calendar year, so membership always runs from Jan. 1-Dec. 31.  If you become a new member after Oct. 1, your membership dues will apply to membership for the remainder of the current year and all of the following year.  Membership is non-refundable and non-transferable.

MEMBERSHIP PORTAL

Individual members of LFMA can join or renew their membership online through our Member Portal.

DIRECTORY
Individual members may access the Membership Directory online by logging into the Member Portal.
Once logged into the Member Portal, members can then update:
  • Contact information
  • Renew membership
  • Review/change committee participation status
  • Access the State Member Directory
  • Register for the state conference
  • Access workshop schedule
  • View/submit CEC records if they are a CFM.

LFMA individual members, corporate partners, and agency partners, represent a diverse cross section of the floodplain management community. Our members represent local, state, tribal and federal government, private industry, nonprofit and academia.
